In one program, the misty orchestral painting of Claude Debussy, Francis Poulenc's concerto for two pianos, and the famous Ninth Symphony by Antonín Dvořák will meet. On stage are soloists Abisal Gergiev and Ivan Rudin, the women's choir, and the Mariinsky Theatre Symphony Orchestra. This program is structured as a journey through different musical worlds: from French transparency and play of light to a daring piano dialogue, and then to one of the most recognizable symphonies in the world repertoire. The beginning is connected with Claude Debussy and his «Nocturnes». The participation of the women's choir will add softness and a sense of a distant voice to the final section. Next, the Concerto for Two Pianos in D minor by Francis Poulenc will be performed. At the pianos are Abisal Gergiev and Ivan Rudin. The finale will be Antonín Dvořák's Ninth Symphony «From the New World». It features broad melodies, powerful orchestral breathing, and a sense of a great journey.
