This is exactly the kind of evening that the musical story found in a bag of New Year postcards promises. It will come to life within the walls of the merchant Nosov's mansion - a place where time seems to stand still, offering a chance to hear what usually slips away in the daily rush. The action unfolds at the post office of city N, where a mysterious bag with old postcards and rare trinkets has been discovered. All of this serves as an excuse for a musical journey through eras, genres, and meanings. The program will feature music from three centuries, from Henry Purcell's English baroque opera "The Fairy Queen" to Soviet classics. The final part of the evening will be adorned with melodies from the musicals "Chess" by Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson and "Woe from Wit" by Vladimir Baskin and Evgeny Muravyov.
