The program features works by two of the greatest representatives of the Russian musical tradition performed by Lu Jinbo and Maya Rives, with the participation of pianist Tatyana Pozdnyakova. At the center of the program are the romances of Pyotr Tchaikovsky and Sergei Rachmaninoff, works in which personal experiences, subtle emotional states, and deep feelings are revealed through music.
