In one evening, the chamber focus and symphonic scale of Ludwig van Beethoven converge. The famous "Kreutzer" in a rare orchestral version and the Seventh Symphony reveal the composer as a master of contrast and inner tension. The evening is built on expressive comparison. First, the Ninth Sonata of Ludwig van Beethoven for violin and piano, known as the "Kreutzer", is performed in an unusual form - in a transcription for violin and string orchestra. This gives it additional depth, making the dramatic turns more pronounced. Then the Seventh Symphony is performed, where energy, precision of form, and inner freedom combine into music of rare clarity. The violin line of Pavel Milyukov promises delicate work with intonation and the nerve of the phrase, while the orchestral sound under the direction of Anton Gakkel emphasizes the architecture of both scores.
