The ensemble was founded by flutist Valery Proshutinsky in 1996 as an artistic tribute to Georg Philipp Telemann - one of the titans of German Baroque. Since then, the group has become a unique phenomenon on the Russian stage. Its mission is not just to play music from past centuries, but to breathe new life into it through authentic performance and modern interpretation. On this evening in the Chamber Hall of the Singing Chapel in St. Petersburg, works by great composers such as Buxtehude, Vivaldi, Bach, Handel, and of course, Telemann will be performed. Their music is not only harmony and beauty but also an endless wealth of meanings that the ensemble skillfully reveals.
