The Chamber Orchestra "Divertissement" returns to the stage with one of its brightest and most personal programs - "White Balance." The project "White Balance" is a musical diary of the collaboration between the Chamber Orchestra "Divertissement" and outstanding Russian composers. Since its premiere in 2020, this program has attracted the attention of connoisseurs and received the "Pure Sound" award for the studio recording released by the FancyMusic label. In the anniversary performance, compositions specially written for the "Divertissement Orchestra" will be performed: "The Book of Sorrow and Joy" by Nastasia Khrushcheva, "White Balance" by Anatoly Korolev, "Passacaglia" and "The Art of Associations" by Sergey Akhunov. Each of these works demonstrates a unique approach to the string ensemble: from shamanic rhythms to almost weightless sound structures, from expressive virtuosity to philosophical restraint. The artistic director of the orchestra, Ilya Ioff, emphasizes that this program was born from a deep internal connection between the musicians and composers. It is not just a collection of pieces - it is a manifesto of the search for balance between classical sound and the spirit of the times, between structure and intuition, between silence and expressiveness. A distinctive feature of the "Divertissement" orchestra is its plasticity, almost chamber sensitivity to form, which allows the ensemble to perform the most complex scores from the Baroque era to the present day. The musicians actively collaborate with representatives of the new academic scene and become conduits for the freshest ideas.
