In the Petrikirche, rare masterpieces by composer Antonino Reggio will be performed, along with great works by Johann Sebastian Bach and Antonio Vivaldi, featuring Konstantin Shchenikov-Arkharov (lute) and Yulia Glazkova (organ). The space of the church on Nevsky will be filled with the sounds of baroque masterpieces. Konstantin Shchenikov-Arkharov will perform the lute sonatas of Antonino Reggio - an undervalued and little-studied Sicilian composer of the 18th century. The name Reggio became known thanks to English researcher Anthony Hardou, who found his works in archives. In addition to the practically unknown Reggio, the concert program includes famous works by Johann Sebastian Bach and Antonio Vivaldi - geniuses of the baroque era, known to all.
