Under the arches of Petrikirche, famous and rarely performed masterpieces by Antonio Vivaldi will be heard. Antonio Vivaldi is a genius of Baroque music, a virtuoso violinist, and a composer. He composed over 40 operas, but his instrumental concertos gained the most fame. During his lifetime, Vivaldi was recognized primarily as a virtuoso violinist and the author of the cycle of concertos "The Four Seasons." Until the 1920s, Vivaldi's music was forgotten, and today, the revival of his art continues. In the original program of the concert performed by the orchestra 'Northern Venice' under the direction of Maestro Eduard Tomsha, the famous, beloved worldwide "The Four Seasons" will be played, as well as compositions that are rarely heard - concertos from the cycle "Harmonic Inspiration," selected symphonies by the composer, and other works. Accompanying the orchestra will be soloists, international competition winners Olga Kotlyarova (organ) and Philip Saulin (violin). The acoustics of the ancient Petrikirche will help immerse the audience in the atmosphere of late Baroque.
