The V. S. Loktev Ensemble invites you to an evening of beloved melodies - from movie soundtracks to hits that everyone can easily sing along to. On stage - an orchestra, junior choirs, and conservatory students, along with them - live drive, soft lyrics, and a sense of a family celebration. The V. S. Loktev Ensemble has a rare talent - turning familiar melodies into an event that you want to remember. "Music of Good Mood" is a concert where the orchestra, choirs of different ages, and young soloists come together on one stage to give the audience an evening without pathos and with a high concentration of joy. Half of the program consists of famous soundtracks from domestic and foreign films and cartoons; the remaining part features hits that everyone can easily sing along to. All of this is presented in original arrangements, with careful respect for the original and the bright energy of live performance. The Loktev Song and Dance Ensemble is a tradition tested over decades. Behind the collective are tours across the country and the world, thousands of concerts, and countless enthusiastic reviews. The current lineup includes an orchestra, choreographic groups, and choirs of different ages - from juniors to students. In this program, the voices of the junior choirs sound especially warm: the childlike purity of the timbre literally illuminates the melodies of Andrei Petrov, Alexander Zatsepin, Maxim Dunaevsky, and other composers whose songs are associated with screen stories and bright memories. The evening is structured like a film - one number flows into another, changing tempo and mood. Orchestral episodes add scale, while vocal ones add personal participation: from the hall, you can hear how the audience whispers familiar lines, and at some point, everyone stops being just listeners. Musical themes from beloved films and cartoons evoke entire scenes in memory, while hits from Soviet and world pop music make you smile and tap your feet in time. There is no goal to surprise with complexity - the goal is different: to provide a warm, recognizable sound that is comfortable for all generations.
