Romances and fragments from operas based on Pushkin's poems will be performed by a soprano and tenor. Music to Pushkin's verses was composed by composers from different eras. The evening's program will feature works by Mikhail Glinka, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Igor Stravinsky, and Georgy Sviridov - composers who interpreted Pushkin's words in various ways. The main theme of the evening is the connection between music and poetry. A romance requires special precision: intonation and meanings are important in it. Opera arias will add scale and theatricality, revealing the literary image through melody and timbre. The program features guest soloist Alexandra Petrovskaya (soprano) from the Moscow Musical Theatre "Helikon-Opera" and guest soloist Vasily Remizov (tenor) from the "Saint Petersburg-Opera" theatre. The piano part will be performed by the concertmaster of MMT "Helikon-Opera" Sergey Chechetko. After the concert, visitors will be able to view the exhibition "War and the Sacred: Prayer, Sacrifice, Name" for free. An up-to-date poster for Moscow is presented on KudaGo.
