Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is never superfluous, and September 14 is a fitting day to enjoy 14 works by the Salzburg genius. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is the author of hundreds of outstanding compositions, and choosing 14 masterpieces for performance at the concert was certainly not easy. Nevertheless, the choice has been made, and now listeners are undoubtedly in for bright musical impressions. Mozart's music is incredibly melodic, harmonious, and deceptively simple (in fact, performing it is not easy at all), which makes listening to it a pure pleasure, especially in the unique acoustics of the Petrikirche. The works that will be performed at the concert fit perfectly into the atmosphere of the majestic hall. Additionally, the concerts "14 Masterpieces of Mozart" have an interesting feature - the organizers vary the musical ensembles, so the genius's works can be heard performed by organ, piano, voice, flute, and other instruments. The performers are leading musicians from St. Petersburg, laureates of international competitions, soloists, and guest musicians from the Mariinsky Theatre and the St. Petersburg Philharmonic. Duration of the concert: 1 hour without intermission. Photo: provided by the organizers.
