About

The film lecture dedicated to the anniversary of Agnia Barto combines a live narration by a film expert and a screening of a children's film almanac about school age. The audience is invited to recall poems, discuss themes of friendship and responsibility, explore "little" promises, and then see how these motifs resonate in screen stories about choice, honesty, and growing up. The film lecture, dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Agnia Barto, addresses themes that are easily recognizable by both adults and schoolchildren. In the first part of the meeting, film expert Stanislav Lugovoy talks about the poetess, her work for children, her collaboration with cinema, and how familiar lines from school textbooks turned into plots for screen stories. Such a conversation helps to hear familiar texts in a new way and see how they relate to real children's experiences. Then the audience will be introduced to the film program and a screening of a children's film almanac from the 1960s. The film is composed of three novellas, each related to a choice in an everyday situation. The characters face rain before a parade, funny superstitions, school conflicts, and the necessity to keep promises made to younger ones. The authors of the film do not preach but invite viewers to observe how children try to understand their own feelings, make mistakes, and correct the consequences of their decisions. For young viewers, such a meeting becomes a tangible conversation about trust, responsibility, and honesty. In one event, a lecture, a retrospective, and a live dialogue with the audience come together. If you don't know where to walk in Moscow, check out KudaGo.
