The State Museum of Cinema invites viewers to a screening of the historical film "Kutuzov" - a movie about the great Russian commander who played a key role in the defeat of Napoleon's army. "Kutuzov" is a classic film biography of the great Russian commander Mikhail Illarionovich Kutuzov, directed by Vladimir Petrov in 1943. The film covers key events of the Patriotic War of 1812, including the Battle of Borodino, the fire of Moscow, the famous Tarutino maneuver, and the defeat of the Napoleonic army. The film showcases complex political intrigues, military tactics, and the personal determination of the commander, who understood that the main thing is not individual battles, but victory in war. It was thanks to his strategy that the Russian army was able to withstand and deliver a decisive blow to the French. The screening is part of the "Retroscope on Fridays" project at the State Museum of Cinema, which introduces viewers to masterpieces of domestic cinema.
