Documentary films about the Rerich family will be shown on the big screen. The Rerich family is a unique phenomenon that has influenced the culture of various countries. The creativity, scientific research, and philosophical ideas of the Rerichs have brought new meanings to the consciousness of a vast number of people around the globe. Their legacy continues to inspire, strengthen cultural dialogue, and strive for peace. For five evenings at "Aurora," documentary films by different directors dedicated to the Rerichs and their activities will be screened. The festival is timed to two significant dates: it concludes the year of the 90th anniversary of the Rerich Pact - the treaty for the protection of cultural heritage sites - and opens the year of the 25th anniversary of the Museum-Institute of the Rerich Family. The program includes films about Rerich's St. Petersburg, about Nikolai Rerich's expeditions in the Russian North and Central Asia, about Nikolai's elder son - the scientist Yuri Rerich, and about the establishment of the Museum-Institute of the Rerich Family.
