From April 6 to 12, a special program of film screenings dedicated to the first Russian Space Week will take place at the "Moskino" cinema network. The project is timed to the 65th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin's flight and brings together films of various years and genres - from Soviet science fiction to modern documentaries and feature films about conquering the Universe. Audiences will see cult classics, animation, popular science films, and large-scale historical dramas related to the theme of space exploration. The program includes films such as "Star Inspector", "Lunar Rainbow", "Purple Ball", "Planet of Storms", "The Time of the First", "Belka and Strelka: Star Dogs", as well as documentaries "Space Calls", "Diving into Weightlessness", and "Course to the Moon". The selection unites different perspectives on space - from fantastic adventures and family stories to real events and scientific research that brought humanity closer to the stars. Among the screenings is the tense science fiction story "Star Inspector" about an uncontrolled experiment with artificial intelligence, the philosophical science fiction "Lunar Rainbow", the adventure film "Purple Ball" about time travel, as well as the legendary film "Planet of Storms", which became one of the symbols of Soviet science fiction. Documentaries will tell about modern research and astronaut training, while the feature drama "The Time of the First" will remind us of the real feats of the participants in the space race.
