Summer stretches like the scent of jasmine: white nights, sunsets the color of grapefruit flesh, and the feeling that everything real is just beginning. Under such a sky, one wants to speak not loudly, but to whisper - about feelings, secret desires, and fleeting closeness. It is in this mood that the summer film selection in the mansion was born. In July and August, outdoor screenings will continue with a program that includes modern European films telling stories about life and relationships in different corners of the world. Among them is "My Year in New York" - a story about poet Joan, who works as an assistant to Salinger, intertwining coming of age, literature, and the search for her own voice. On August 5, "The Walk" will hit the screens, a film about a fleeting encounter of three people in St. Petersburg that flows into a spontaneous journey through the city. On August 14, viewers will see "Peter FM" - a romantic comedy about how a chance meeting and a lost phone can change destinies. On August 21, there will be a screening of "Recipe for Happiness," and the program will conclude on August 28 with Miyazaki's anime "The Wind Rises." These films immerse viewers in the atmosphere of self-discovery, love, and important life choices. Screenings will be in the original language with subtitles.
