About

Three instruments, three worlds, three unique sounds. Harpsichord, organ, and piano live - accompanied by a symphony orchestra. The interactive concert will unveil the secrets of the keys, amaze with the combination of eras, and provide unforgettable emotions for children and adults. Bach, Saint-Saëns, and Rachmaninoff will sound in a new light, and the concert hosts will find words for the youngest listeners. This is not just a concert, but a true musical journey for the whole family. How to explain to a child that the harpsichord sounds different from the piano? Why can the organ fill the hall with grandeur, while the piano conveys the subtlest emotions? The interactive concert "The Language of Music. Keys" answers these questions not with words, but with sounds. This concert is part of a special children's subscription that helps young listeners immerse themselves in the world of music without boredom and formalities. The hosts - music critic Yaroslav Timofeev and educator Maria Kholkina - easily and humorously explain complex things. Together with the musicians, they guide the listeners through a magical route: from the era of Bach to Rachmaninoff. On stage - the State Academic Symphony Chapel of Russia conducted by Maxim Mokhorev. Three pieces and three instruments will be performed: organ (Ivan Tsarev), harpsichord (Anastasia Antonova), and piano (Kirill Rogovoy). The music spans three centuries and three expressive styles: from Bach's famous Toccata and Fugue to the stirring lyricism of Rachmaninoff's Second Concerto. Each piece is an opportunity to hear, feel, compare, and be amazed. The interactive format means that children are not just spectators here. They are involved in the process: asking questions, participating in discussions, laughing, being surprised, and learning. The hall is filled not only with music but also with lively interest. This approach helps children love classical music not out of obligation, but out of inspiration.
