About

The meeting will take place in the format of a commented reading in Russian sign language. The session is aimed at deaf children and teenagers. Participants will explore two fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm - "King Drozdoborod" and "Rapunzel". Both were included in the first edition of the collection "Children's and Household Tales", published in 1812, and became part of the European literary tradition. The meeting will take place in the format of a commented reading in Russian sign language. Participants will also discuss why the Brothers Grimm's fairy tales continue to interest readers two centuries later. Children will be able to reflect on the behavior of the characters, compare situations with their own experiences, and formulate their attitudes towards the plot. The host is psychologist Nadezhda Chaushyan. Where to go in Moscow today will be told by our website.
