At the meeting, participants will discuss Jerome Salinger's novel "The Catcher in the Rye." The book, published in 1951, remains relevant to new generations. Holden Caulfield's story is a look at the challenging process of growing up, inner searching, and rejection of the phoniness that he believes permeates society. Holden becomes a symbol of a young person trying to find their place in the world but facing difficulties, misunderstanding, and loneliness. The event will be led by specialists working with inclusive programs. To help participants better immerse themselves in the atmosphere and understand the symbolism of the work, tactile models from the collection of the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art will be used in the discussion.
