Participants will visit drinking establishments with an unusual atmosphere and immerse themselves in the captivating legends of one of the most dangerous areas of Moscow in the 19th century. Khitrovka is a district with a frightening past and unusual bars, the walls of which hide curious facts about the history and culture of the capital. Accompanied by a guide, participants will visit several establishments that are distinguished by their special atmosphere. They will learn where the film "Brother 2" was shot, in which of the oldest houses access is granted only by a secret code, where the spirit of freedom lives, what is currently located at the site of the infamous taverns "Katorga" and "Peresilny", which bar takes care of antique items, and how the aesthetics of a biology classroom can be played out in the interior of a youth establishment.
