An immersive program "Tea Stories. Visiting Gogol" will take place at the "Gogol House". Participants will immerse themselves in the atmosphere of an old Moscow estate, learn about tea drinking in Russia, and taste tea according to ancient recipes. The program will be led by Svetlana Panchenko, head of the scientific and methodological department, who will explain how tea drinking was conducted in Moscow estates, how the table was set, and why the samovar was considered an integral part of this process. Participants will be able to ask questions about various methods of brewing tea and what treats were traditionally served at the table.
