A flamenco performance dedicated to the life and work of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo offers the audience a combination of dance, music, and visual art. Frida Kahlo is an iconic figure in Mexican art, known for her unique self-portraits and deep symbolic paintings. Her work reflects personal suffering, physical pain, and emotional experiences intertwined with Mexican culture and folklore. At the age of 17, she suffered a serious accident that led to multiple surgeries and a long recovery. It was during this period that she began to paint, creating self-portraits that became the central theme of her work. The production, created and directed by Natalia Zaikova, aims to convey Frida's inner world through the language of flamenco. This Spanish dance, known for its expressiveness and depth, is perfectly suited to depict the passion and strength of the artist's spirit. Zaikova, inspired by Kahlo's biography, managed to translate her artistic diary into the language of dance, emphasizing Frida's powerful inner fire and love for life. KudaGo features the current program for Moscow.
