This vibrant family festival is built around the image of a braid - a traditional female hairstyle symbolizing the connection between generations and feminine wisdom. More than fifty activities are planned: introductions to crafts, tastings of national products, business meetings, and much more. The goal of the sociocultural festival "Weaving Meanings" is to bring traditions back into our daily lives, unite generations, and introduce guests to the diverse culture of Russia. The central event of the day will be the all-Russian action "The Uniting Braid": from 12:00 to 13:00, participants will simultaneously braid hair as a symbol of life, unity, and the connection between generations. Everyone is welcome to join. The festival site will unfold into a whole city with bright and creative thematic areas. In the craft workshops, attendees can meet artisans and try their hand at traditional crafts. The "Sbiten-Grad" area will present traditional treats from various regions of Russia: Russian pancakes and sbiten, Tatar chak-chak, Caucasian flatbreads, Bashkir honey, and much more. In the "Beauty Terem" and the Festive Rows, every woman will be able to highlight her natural beauty, while in the "Light Room" important topics for women will be discussed. For guests with children, areas "Harmony and Agreement" and "Fathers and Children" have been prepared. In the "Merchant Duma," entrepreneurs striving to conduct meaningful business will gather. Additionally, there will be an art exhibition and other events. Details can be found on the website.
