A large-scale sports festival will take place on the Moscow River, in the "Museon" park and near the New Tretyakov Gallery as part of the "Summer in Moscow" project. The program includes competitions for professional athletes, mass boat swims, master classes on stand-up paddleboards, a concert by popular artists, and other bright events. The event is organized by the Department of Sports of the City of Moscow. The family sports festival will be held at three venues. Its hosts will be rowing experts: commentator Dmitry Guberniev and the 2004 Olympic Games champion Sergey Fyodorovtsev. The section of the Moscow River from the monument to Peter I to the Crimean Bridge will be transformed into a racing distance. Here, amateurs and professionals will compete in academic rowing, and there will be races on "Dragon" and "Viking" boats. At 14:40, an impressive show with hydrofoiling, motor surfing, and jet skiing, live music, water dances, dolphin boats, and racing "rockets" will unfold here. At 18:30, popular artist Jony will perform his hits on a floating stage. A world record is also planned to be set for the number of water motor sports representatives performing together in a single water area, and a giant flag of Russia will be raised above the water with the participation of Russian hydrofoiling champions. At the site near the "Museon" park, high diving professionals will demonstrate their skills - they will perform jumps from extreme heights (entry to this event is by ticket). There will also be demonstration performances in hydrofoiling and master classes for those wishing to learn to manage a stand-up paddleboard. The festive atmosphere will be created by a host, a DJ, and animators, and guests will be able to test themselves on rowing simulators and visit interactive zones.
