About

In honor of the Lunar New Year and Botanica's own birthday, a portal to East Asia opens. Guests can expect 11 days of immersion in the traditions of China, Japan, and Korea, a large-scale interactive program, cosplay, and much more. Three countries - China, Japan, and Korea - will meet under the roof of Botanica Mall and whirl visitors in a vortex of exciting events. The festival started on Chinese New Year, February 17, and will last until the first day of spring. From February 20 to 21, visitors will dive into the traditions of China. The program includes a dragon and drum show, games of go and mahjong, a dumpling-making workshop, tea ceremonies, and kung fu and qigong classes. February 22 and 23 will be Japan days. Guests will see the mesmerizing dance of geishas and a samurai parade, and they will have the chance to try on a real kimono. They will also learn to make the popular Japanese sweet mochi, compose haiku, do makeup, and more. The most active can come in costumes of their favorite anime characters and participate in the parade. Korean days will take place on February 27 and 28. A lively atmosphere will be provided by a cover band performing K-pop. The program also includes a beauty bar, jewelry-making workshops, a parade with props, and dance DJ sets. Additionally, from February 24 to 26, "Three Days of Eastern Mood" will be held with fortune-telling using Chinese sticks, games of go and mahjong, and vibrant photo zones. The festival will conclude on March 1, with guests expecting a grand show featuring mythical characters, music, workshops, and other entertainment. For more details, visit the official website.
