A bright, spectacular musical and theatrical performance against the backdrop of the Kremlin walls returns to the city at the end of summer. The Spasskaya Tower Festival has been held annually in Red Square since 2007. It is not just a parade of military orchestras from different countries, but a grand show that harmoniously combines classical, pop, and folk music, dances, demonstrations by horse riders with weapons, light effects, and salvos of fireworks. Each festival day awaits the audience with bright events: evening performances by military orchestras, ensembles, and Cossack choirs, equestrian shows featuring a team of horse acrobats, performances by the honor guard company, fireworks, and an interactive program.
