In St. Petersburg, the #ProHeartFest will take place for the first time - a festival about a new culture of health, where evidence-based medicine doctors will explain in simple language about heart health, stress, physical activity, weight loss, and much more. The whole family can come, and the program is planned to be diverse and rich. Cardiovascular diseases are one of the most common health problems in our country. However, many people postpone even basic examinations for years. #ProHeartFest is the first in a planned series of festivals where evidence-based medicine doctors and scientists will meet with visitors to talk about the heart and how to take care of it without causing unnecessary anxiety. The festival will take place in an open dialogue format, where guests can ask their questions to experts and receive answers. The festival consists of several zones, each hosting informative and interesting events. In the Large Lecture Hall, lectures and discussions will be held with renowned cardiologists and other doctors. Among the topics that experts will address are cholesterol, the impact of stress on the heart, physical activity, and the medicine of the future. In the Communication Zone, intimate meetings will take place with questions from the audience, where an expert will explain how to quickly recognize a heart attack, the differences between male and female hearts, and how to convince a loved one to see a doctor. At the festival, there will be a booth where everyone can undergo a bioimpedance analysis for free. It does not replace a visit to the doctor but can be the first step towards self-care. In the exhibition area, visitors will be able to examine blood vessels under a microscope and take a virtual journey inside the human body and operating room.
