In the "Museon" park, a flying bicycle, a mortar, a retro car, and other unexpected constructions will take to the air. Two dozen teams led by star athletes and artists will present their homemade flying machines, and the jury will decide which ones are the best. On Saturday, an unusual festival of flying machines will unfold in "Museon", organized by the Department of Sports of the city of Moscow. Twenty teams of five participants will prove to the audience and the jury that unity and ingenuity can lift into the air even things that usually do not fly, such as a hockey puck or a retro car. The teams will be led by famous athletes, singers, and bloggers. Among them are figure skaters Alexei Yagudin, Anna Shcherbakova, and Evgenia Medvedeva, football player Konstantin Tyukavin, singer Oleg Miami, and many others. NHL player Mikhail Sergachev will participate as part of the team "Sector 98", representing the charity fund to assist families and children with health limitations "Sector 98". Four other members of each team are social media followers of their captains who won a contest. Each team will present a self-constructed flying machine. A special ramp 6 meters high will be built for the launches. The jury, which will include commentator Dmitry Guberniev and other celebrities from the media, music, and sports worlds, will evaluate the launches based on three parameters: flight distance, creativity of the device, and the team's show talent. Guests of the park can also expect a variety of entertainment. Colorful shows will feature acrobats and gymnasts, and there will be live performances by artists. Homemade flying machine launches will take place at seven venues, and the winners will be awarded at a ceremonial event. The festival will conclude with a concert headlined by Tatyana Bulanova, SHAMAN, and the band "Zveri". Details are available on the official website.
