The Korean Wave Festival is an event for everyone who is passionate about K-pop and Korean cinema, wants to learn how to cook Korean dishes, and uncover the beauty secrets of Korean artists. And if you are not yet familiar with Korean culture, this is a great opportunity to get acquainted! The festival, organized by the Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, will combine Korean cuisine, beauty, and K-pop music. The audience will not just stand aside; everyone will be able to choose an activity based on their interests and discover Korean culture in practice. At 1:00 PM, a master class on preparing kkomakimbap - one of the most popular street food dishes in South Korea - will start. Up to 300 people can participate simultaneously! At 3:30 PM, there will be a master class on Korean makeup by a professional makeup artist. Guests will learn about the latest trends and uncover the makeup secrets of Korean movie actors and pop artists. Also in the program - a showcase of traditional Korean hanbok costumes, folk games, calligraphy workshops, and other events. From 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, there will be a market for Korean goods on site. The festival will culminate in a "K-pop cover dance" competition, where finalist teams will showcase exciting performances.
