A week dedicated to the works of Nikolai Gogol will bring together lectures, workshops, and creative meetings. The program will cover several venues and offer different formats of participation. The festival will be timed to the 190th anniversary of the theatrical premiere of the comedy "The Government Inspector" and will include all the venues of the libraries in the Krasnogvardeysky district, as well as the House of Books. The program includes lectures, exhibitions, workshops, literary quizzes, quests, and meetings with artists. The key event will take place on April 5. The space of the House of Books will be transformed into the provincial town of N, where a reading of the play will take place. Together with researchers, theater figures, and actors, participants will discuss why the work remains relevant nearly two centuries later.
