The fifth FestTech by MIPT will unite fans of science, futurism, and critical thinking. This time, the festival will take place as part of the City Day celebrations, featuring over 50 events on its grounds. The festival will be held at the "ATOM" museum, with a large program planned that includes scientific lectures, developments, workshops, and entertainment. In the technology zone, everyone is invited to explore scientific developments and coffee thermodynamics, guests will see art installations and a robot battle, try to solve puzzles quickly, and learn that the legendary textbook by Landau and Lifshitz has its own voice. Scientists from MIPT, as well as experts from various industries, will speak in the lecture hall. The topics of the presentations are very diverse: the role of artificial intelligence in our lives, the connection between the pyramids of Egypt and nuclear technologies, biophysics in medicine, weather on the Sun, and much more. Additionally, there will be a mini-show "Scientific Delusions" with bloggers Dmitry Pobedinsky and Timofey Lyutov - a lively and ironic discussion of the most curious scientific ideas. In the "Atomarium" space, there will be a special program "Physics Under Music" from "Rosatom": a scientific jam session on string theory, the history of science and guitars, as well as a musical performance with theremins and synthesizers. At the workshops, everyone will have the opportunity to try their hand at 3D printing, assemble robots, participate in demonstrations of physical and chemical phenomena, showcase their knowledge in a scientific quiz and stand-up quiz. In the evening part of the program, there will be a humorous Anti-Scientific Conference, and the festival will conclude with an open-air musical concert in "Orion" park.
