A large family festival as part of the "Summer in Moscow" project dedicated to International Chess Day. Muscovites can look forward to tournaments, activities, and entertainment for all ages. No matter how skilled you are at chess, everyone can participate in the festival and get excited about this intellectual game. Grandmasters will hold over thirty simultaneous play sessions (online registration is required to participate). There will also be tournaments among chess players of different ages. The festival will be hosted by popular commentator Dmitry Guberniev. At 1:00 PM, a Chess Square with various entertainment will unfold near the VTB Arena stadium. Children and adults will be able to visit interactive zones and workshops, see performances by circus artists, and create a bright look with the help of face painting. An additional program is planned in the square near the Metropol Hotel, in the Samotyotchny Square, and in Tsaritsyno. From 4:00 PM, simultaneous play sessions will take place in the squares. Those interested can attend workshops and showcase their knowledge in quizzes. And for those who prefer active entertainment, there will be relay races and other activities.
