On International Women's Day, "ATOM" has prepared a program for the whole family. The most feminine topics will be explored here through the lens of science, as well as stories about women in the atomic industry and engaging workshops. On this day, the "ATOM" museum will be filled with the main attribute of March 8th - flowers. In the lobby, an exhibition titled "Flower Laboratory" will combine science and design. Here, from 12:00 to 12:30, there will be a ceremonial opening of the festival, performances by a plastic theater and singer DRIADA. In the workshop "Gentle Science," teenagers and adults will dive into the micro-world, create a keychain from a flower, and learn how to prolong the freshness of cut buds. Meanwhile, children aged 3-5 will feel like real researchers in the workshop "Games with Flowers" at the Children's Science Sandbox. Other exciting activities will also take place. Children and parents will be able to create a mini-tundra in a jar, learn about cryptography, build a fountain, and create a levitation effect with a famous illusionist. In the afternoon, the museum will discuss fashion and women in science. Eco-designers will meet with guests to explain how traditional Gzhel and Palekh patterns are connected to quantum entanglement. During the tour "Atomic Women," visitors will get to know radiochemist Lise Meitner, the "Russian Madame Curie," and other women scientists. There will also be a meeting titled "10 Revealing Evenings," where stories will be shared about women who participated in the development of the Soviet atomic project.
