Anne Frank is a Jewish girl who, during World War II, has to hide to escape Nazi persecution. Along with seven others, she remains hidden in the "secret annex" of a building located in Amsterdam. During this time, she writes her personal diary where she expresses her feelings and emotions. After more than two years of hiding, they are discovered and deported to concentration camps. Of the eight in hiding, only Anne's father, Otto Frank, survives the war.
