The museum's exhibition, located in the former apartments of Joseph Brodsky, will introduce guests to the life and work of the famous poet and tell about the connection of his works with the Sixties generation. In one of the apartments of the historic Muruzi House, Joseph Brodsky lived with his family for 17 years. After long attempts to buy the poet's apartment to create a museum, his friends managed to acquire only 4 out of 5 rooms, and only recently, thanks to the purchase of a neighboring apartment, the idea was realized. Today, the museum consists of two parts: in the apartment adjacent to the memorial one, guests can immerse themselves in the spirit of a bygone era, leaf through a book by the fireplace, and learn about the influence of the poet's texts on the Sixties, while the second part - "One and a Half Rooms" - will introduce interesting facts from Brodsky's biography.
