About

Participants will immerse themselves in the history of the Cold War and learn about the features of underground bunkers during an exciting tour of the legendary strategic shelter built for Joseph Stalin in case of a nuclear strike. The period of confrontation between the two superpowers in the second half of the 20th century is considered a time of serious threats to the world order. Was it really that dangerous, or are these stories nothing more than exaggerations? Tourists will find the answer to this question while exploring a real bunker created to save the head of state from the consequences of a nuclear bomb landing on Soviet territory. Guides from the "Bunker-42" museum will tell visitors about the protective properties of the nuclear shelter, the personnel ensuring its operation, and the real state of affairs during the Cold War. Participants will also see advanced engineering developments and communication devices for their time, an exact replica of a Soviet atomic bomb, and a simulation of its explosion recreated using modern technologies. The duration of the tour program is 1 hour. The tour is designed for a group of up to 50 people. To learn more details, click the "Sign Up for the Tour" button.
