The mysterious lantern keeper Farolero invites residents and guests of Kazan to embark on an exciting theatrical journey through one of the city's most unique neighborhoods. Participants of the interactive tour will travel back in time and stroll through the evening streets of the Old Tatar Settlement in the company of a magical character. A complete immersion in the atmosphere of ancient Kazan will be provided by an audio guide, which will shield the tourists from the noise of the metropolis. The walk in this unusual format will introduce participants to the history of the centuries-old city and the culture of the Tatar people. Farolero will tell how local women protected themselves from evil spirits, what connects Yves Saint Laurent with Kazan shoemaker Karim, why a cat was awarded the title of guard of honor, and who Maestro Alfeoni really is.
