Golden domes, beautiful interiors, sacred relics - participants will explore the exterior and interior of one of the largest mosques in Russia and learn about the history of Muslim culture. Before opening the luxurious carved doors of the mosque, participants will stroll around the iconic structure and examine its unusual facade. The guide will explain why both Tatar and Russian motifs are present in the building's exterior, how many times its appearance has changed, what it was originally intended to look like, where the ceremonial doors were made, and what the features of the building's decoration are. Inside, the Cathedral Mosque consists of several halls. Participants will visit each of them and admire their exquisite light interiors, decorated with traditional Muslim ornaments, large crystal chandeliers, and Turkish carpets. Guests will also see a fragment of the Kaaba cover, a Quran with silver pages, facsimiles of Turkish manuscripts, and relics from various countries. At the end of the tour, those interested can ascend to the observation deck, which offers panoramic views of Moscow. The duration of the tour program is 1 hour.
