Participants of the walk will see that Anna Akhmatova's evening St. Petersburg is a living embodiment of memories. Here, every corner holds secrets, and the streets and squares bear witness to literary feats and fateful meetings. First, guests will head to the Fountain House garden, the place where the first lines of great works were born. They will then walk along the Neva, past the places where Akhmatova found "so much of St. Petersburg." Next, they will head to the Summer Garden - "the greatest secret," as the poetess called it. Then to Mars Field, picturesque and dramatic, which became the stage for her "Poem Without a Hero." The tour will conclude at the "Wandering Dog," a living symbol of the Silver Age. "I threw thousands of bells Into my icy Neva, And I became the queen of sleeplessness Since that night I am known everywhere..."
