Participants will learn about the history of the ancient mansion built in the early 19th century and discover the fates of its famous owners. The mansion on Liteiny Avenue holds the memory of several noble families. At different times, military engineer General Christian Truzson, Prince A. P. Urusov, and representatives of one of the oldest and most renowned noble families, the Musiny-Pushkins, resided within its walls. This building has witnessed both joyful and tragic historical events, and today, its ancient interiors house the Central Library named after Lermontov. The guide will take participants through the grand halls of the mansion and tell them about its complicated fate. The program lasts about 2 hours.
