Participants will embark on an exciting journey through the picturesque island with a boat trip on the Volga River and a walking tour of the iconic structures of the ancient fortress city. From the River Port of Kazan, the excursionists will reach the famous island-city of Sviyazhsk on a comfortable boat. From the water, they will be greeted with beautiful natural landscapes and stunning views of architectural monuments created by medieval architects. Upon arrival on the island, the guide will take participants on an interesting route through the cobbled streets of the city, introduce them to legendary monasteries and churches, immerse them in the history of the region, and also show them a lifetime portrait of Ivan the Terrible.
