Participants will explore the history of Kitai-Gorod in a quest format. Together with a guide, they will uncover and decipher clues from the chronicler and complete several fun tasks. Accompanied by a guide, participants will take an exciting walk through the oldest district of Moscow, visiting courtyards, chambers, and yards. Along the way, participants will encounter simple yet interesting tasks and puzzles from the old chronicler, who encrypted clues in 19th-century postcards. As the quest progresses, the team will learn new fascinating facts and intriguing stories about the ancient fortress. The route of the journey passes not only through the district's landmarks but also through lesser-known streets and courtyards of Kitai-Gorod. Participants will discover in which local church Ivan IV secretly married, what secrets the Exchange Square holds, the connection between Kitai-Gorod and the Chinese, and where today one can see the remnants of the famous fortress wall.
