In a dynamic interactive walking format, participants will unravel the mysteries of the ancient island, immerse themselves in its past, and discover interesting locations with a mystical reputation. The guide will lead the tourists through the atmospheric lines and courtyards of Vasilievsky Island, along which are located mansions, tenement houses, cathedrals, and even a famous pharmacy full of legends. Participants will examine historical facades, visit the garden of the Academy of Arts, pass by a mosaic workshop, make a wish at the monument to Peter Clodt, learn to calculate the locations of bomb shelters, and visit the filming locations of Soviet films. With the help of engaging attention tasks, tourists will learn: how the "lines" originated on Vasilievsky; what a tram and an omnibus are; why the pharmacist Pelya was nicknamed the alchemist; how the house of the sugar king of the Russian Empire was filled with perfumes; and why Akhmatova's poems awarded Gumilyov the title of sadist.
