Continuation of the series of excursions dedicated to the composer Alexander Tikhonovich Grechaninov. This time the walk will start from the "Krasnopresnenskaya" metro station. From here, the group will head to Novinsky Boulevard, stroll through cozy courtyards near Fyodor Pleveko's tenement house, and turn into Trubnikovsky Lane. Here, one can feel the spirit of old Moscow, and the guide - Elena Vyacheslavovna Nikolaeva - will share interesting stories about the connections of these places with Grechaninov's life. The route will then proceed along Povarskaya Street to the building of the Russian Academy of Music named after Gnesin, where Grechaninov taught. After Povarskaya, the participants of the excursion will head to Bolshoy Nikolopeskovsky Lane, where the house of Konstantin Balmont - the poet whose verses inspired the composer to create romances - has been preserved. The walk will conclude at the "Smolenskaya" metro station. Entertainment in Moscow is gathered on our website.
