In a detective format, participants of the tour will uncover the secrets of Masonic lodges and learn to separate myths from truth. The guide will lead the participants through colorful landmarks marked by the Masonic trace: Kazan Cathedral, the Horse Guards Church, Mikhailovsky Castle, and the Church of the Savior on Blood. While examining the symbols of Masonic and pseudo-Masonic lodges located on historical buildings, participants will analyze their meanings and discover which signs were used only by "profane" individuals. The detectives will dive into the history of the secret society, recall Masonic poems by Pushkin, explore how the writer influenced the closure of Masonic lodges, discuss the Radiant Delta embedded in the architectural plan of St. Petersburg, and solve the ancient riddle of the sphinxes.
