Participants of the tour will learn how the appearance of the square has changed, why Muscovites call one of the metro stations "Arbat Star," and how two monuments to Nikolai Vasilyevich Gogol appeared in this space. The walk will begin at the Gogol monument and continue along the routes where Mikhail Pogodin introduced the great writer to the attractions of the Priarbat region.
