The project "ART inside" offers a chance to get acquainted with contemporary art outside the usual museum frameworks - through visits to studios and live dialogue with artists. ART inside is a format of informal art walks through the studios of contemporary artists. Instead of gallery halls - working spaces, instead of curatorial explanations - honest conversations with the author, instead of distance - direct presence within the creative process. The project includes nine routes, each built around different artistic communities, authors, and ways of working with form. The excursions provide an opportunity to see how works are born, to ask the question "What did you want to say, author?" and to feel the context in which the contemporary art scene of St. Petersburg exists. Participants get to know not only the artists, their methods, and environment, but also alternative cultural locations, often hidden from the mass tourist gaze. Upcoming excursions: March 14, 12:00-14:00 - route "Petr Bely and 'Mosi'" (meeting point: Moiseenko St., 8B). Visiting the studios of Ivan Khimin and Konstantin Uzhva and the gallery "Mosi", followed by a visit to the studio of Petr Bely on Zhukovsky Street. Participants will get acquainted with different artistic practices and hear stories from the authors about their works; March 21, 12:00-13:30 - route "Matter of Memory" (Moiseenko St., 8B). An excursion to the studios of Emilia Sangi and Vadim Mikhailov, where the artists work with found objects, textiles, and the technique of sgraffito, exploring the theme of memory and cultural identity.
