Eagles of Death Metal is an American rock band from Palm Desert, California, founded in 1998 by best friends Jesse Hughes and Joshua Homme. The group has included a wide range of other musicians that appear on the band’s studio albums and live shows. EODM’s current touring lineup includes the ever-present Hughes, Leah Bluestein on drums, Scott Shiflett on guitar and Dustin Douglas on bass. Despite their band name, Eagles of Death Metal is not a death metal band and is intended to be humorous.
