Tourists can expect an exciting journey through South Karelia with a nature retreat. The introduction to the region will begin with a bus tour to Priozersk, during which the guide will tell legends of the Karelian Isthmus, and will continue in the "Valley of Waterfalls". Guests will walk along the eco-trail, cross a suspension bridge, see Karelian flora, learn about the lifestyle of the ancient people in a Sami village, and interact with reindeer, moose, and huskies. The highlight of the first day will be a walk through the Ruskeala Mountain Park. After resting at the Sortavala hotel, tour participants will ascend Mount Paaso, take a city sightseeing tour, and admire the expanses of Lake Ladoga from the waterfront.
