Participants of the workshop will explore the features of Fauvism and create their own artwork using the collage technique inspired by the works of Henri Matisse. Henri Matisse is the founder of the Fauvist movement and one of the brightest representatives of 19th-20th century art. His unique style combines vividness and simplicity, and his works reflect the joy of life and a wealth of emotions. Participants in the themed master class from the "Art of Nations" foundation and the "ProMuseum" project will get to know Fauvism and feel like true avant-gardists. Children will listen to a brief biography of Henri Matisse, analyze his unique approach to art, learn how Fauvism originated, and uncover the significance of color and form. Inspired by the master's works, young artists will create their own composition in frontal perspective with elements of collage. The program is designed for children aged 8 to 12.
